Hello,
I had booked the cab from Mumbai Airport to Airoli(By showing the exact address of the destination) via the pre-paid taxi counter. After getting into the taxi the driver drove me towards my destination and as soon as he reached Airoli he said he won’t be going further as the location mentioned in the pre-paid booking is just Airoli. When I told that the booking was done based on the hotel address shown by me, he refused to move further and pulled the taxi to the left. When I said to him that I don’t have any other way I can prove but call the pre-paid taxi counter but he refused. I said I would be complaining to the taxi company about his denial but in return he started threatening me saying he will make sure that I will suffer. I said since you are senior in age that doesn’t mean you can speak like this but he ended up shouting and threatening me continuously. After discussing with him finally he agreed to drop me to my destination only if I pay 150Rs More. Since I didn’t have any other option, I ended up paying extra to reach the destination.
Am officially placing a complaint here to make sure that no other passengers are going to have similar experience in future.
Its absolutely not acceptable such threatening and denial of the survice based on the bookings.
