Complaint filed against | Air india mumbai airport, Mumbai airport immigration |
- Text of Complaint by PRABHJOT KAUR KANG
My name is Prabhjot Kaur Kang a British Citizen. My passport number is 556481746. I am a cancer patient and suffering from depression. I booked Air India ticket from 4th March to 15th March 2025 London Heathrow airport to Delhi via CSMIA Mumbai Airport. When I reached Mumbai airport at immigration their staff said I am on expired visa. Even though my visa was valid. They didn’t listen anything. They behave very rudely, harassed me and kept me waiting 6 hours. I was not even allowed to call any of my relatives. Meanwhile my flight to Delhi also got missed. I was feeling very stressed and down at that time. I was fainting down. I bought new air ticket. They given me 3 days visa and when I reached my relatives home I applied exit permit which I paid nearly 9000 rupees.
On return when I reached Mumbai Airport Air India counter the lady said because you missed the flight on 4th March you have to pay penalty. She was behaving very rudely. She didn’t listen anything. Then I paid 40 USD. I had no options. I was very stressful.
When I arrived at Heathrow airport I breathe a sigh of relief. I work in media in the UK.
It was a very worst experience in my life even though I am battling with my life.
Kindly look into the matter deeply, take action against staff on duty and I want justice and compensation of all the hassle.
