wish to formally submit a complaint regarding the inappropriate conduct of an immigration officer at Counter 39 at Mumbai Airport on 15 December 2025 at approximately 8:00 PM.
During our interaction, the officer spoke to us in an impolite and unprofessional manner. He was conversing with the officer beside him while looking at us and laughing, which was disrespectful and unacceptable. After completing the immigration process, he forcefully struck my passport on the counter, showing clear disregard for an official travel document .
Additionally, after completing the procedures for my friend who was standing behind me, the officer gestured at her to leave in a rude and inappropriate manner.
Such behavior does not reflect the standards expected of immigration officers, who represent the image of their country and are required to treat all travelers with respect and professionalism. I respectfully request that this incident be investigated and the necessary action taken.
Stolen gift items and lost liquor from bags on British Airways flight at Mumbai airport. I heard Mumbai (BOM) airport staff notorious for such things. I have travelled through several times through Mumbai and New Delhi airport. Mumbai airport staff and custom clearance always give some or other type of trouble.
