I am writing to formally lodge a complaint and request compensation for the damage to my checked baggage during my recent flight from Barcelona to Mumbai on 24th December.
Upon collecting my luggage at Mumbai airport, I discovered that one suitcase had visible cracks, and the other had its zip broken. I have attached photographs of the damaged items for your reference.
I reported this issue to the ground staff at the airport, who provided this email address and instructed me to lodge a complaint here. Given the extent of the damage, I request appropriate compensation for the loss incurred.
Please advise on the next steps and any documentation or details you may require from my side to process this request.
