Ref: Flight AI 574 from Chennai to Mumbai 1st Sep, 2024. Seat 7C

Sirs,
I would like to bring to your kind notice that yesterday we arrived in Mumbai by above flight. The flight was on time and landed at 23:29 in Mumbai. Parked in another 10 minutes.

THEREAFTER WE WAITED 45 MINUTES IN THE AIRCRAFT FOR THE DOORS TO OPEN.
LADDERS WERE IN PLACE
OUR BAGGAGE WAS BEING EMPTIED AND TAKEN TO TERMINAL, AS PER VISIBLE FROM WINDOW.

BUT WE WERE IN THE AIRCRAFT FOR 45 MINUTES. DOORS OPENED AFTER 00:15 HRS

There were so many passengers who had connecting flights. I think they were on the verge of losing those connections.

AFTER ASKING THE CREW THE REASON FOR DELAY, THEY INFORMED THAT THE ‘COMMERCIAL SECURITY OFFICER’ WHO COMES AND KNOCKS THE DOOR HAS NOT ARRIVED!!!!

HE ARRIVED 45+ MINUTES AFTER AIRCRAFT PARKING.

WHEN DOORS OPENED – I ASKED WHO THAT OFFICER WAS – I CONFRONTED HIM AND ASKED THE REASON FOR DELAY, HE COULD NOT RESPOND!

IS THIS THE WAS WE OPERATE OUR COUNTRY’S PREMIUM AIRLINE? WHAT KIND OF IMAGE ARE WE PROMOTING INTERNATIONALLY??

THERE WERE INTERNATIONAL PASSENGERS IN THE AIRCRAFT TOO!!

IS’NT ANY BODY ANSWERABLE?

The Captain and First Officer lady were in our bus to the terminal – He said this is usual affair by these SECURITY PERSONNEL. He said ‘I am tired of complaining to my bosses and nobody takes it up seriously!!!!’
THIS IS THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING. IF YOU DO NOT LISTEN TO THE PERSON IN CHARGE OF 200+ LIVES, THEN WHO WILL YOU LISTEN TO??

I would like to know, what steps are taken to make this person answerable and real reason for yesterday’s delay.
