I’m extremely irritated about the cab services at Mumbai International Airport. There is extortion carried out by local cab services which doesn’t allow the online services to operate. This is an open public loot happening which is a disgrace for our country as even foreign nationals are facing issues on cab bookings. Either there are too many cancellations or the driver asks for more money. Is this ethical and acceptable to the government and the authorities, leaving the masses unprotected from these practices. Why can’t the airport authority impose strict service rules keeping the customers in mind , these are public services built for the people & nation . Such extortion activities need to be taken seriously and offenders need to be penalized or punished.
Please take this matter seriously. I havent seen any improvement and no action by you. Such instances put the entire country impression under disgrace for both locals and foreign nationals.
