Dear Sir/Madam,
This is with reference to our flight with your esteemed carrier.Flight Details:Flight No: AI0627Travel Date: 11th May 2024Travel from Mumbai to Delhi.Booking Reference No: 5LP32Y
This is to bring to your kind notice that I was travelling with my family (i.e Myself, My Wife and 2 kids) to Delhi for a short family vacation.I was travelling with a Mid sized travel suitcase. As I regularly fly and I carry the same suitcase I had done a web checkin and directly moved to the security screening and proceeded to onboard the flight.
While boarding the flight one of the airport security staff intercepted and de-boarded my family as he could not allow my luggage to be carried in the cabin. We were ok with the luggage to be checked in by the carrier staff, or sent by the next available flight (which is normally done in such cases). But he refused and insisted that I should go back to the checkin counter and do it myself (which is insensible as we were left with only 5 mins to close the gates).
This insensitive and appalling behaviour of the airport security staff and the incapability of the Air India on ground team to deal with the situation had made us succumb to the nonsensical request. We had to remove all the clothes from the luggage and stuff it in some old paper bag and leave our suitcase at the airport.
This experience has left us with deep pain and embarrassment. we would request the management team to kindly look into the issue and take corrective action against the said person.
Also, I would like to request you to kindly help me with my suitcase that I had left in the airport.
