Immigration officials keep passengers waiting for too long

I was travelling to Brisbane from Mumbai via Singapore with Singapore Airlines. There was a long queue at immigration and we had to wait for more than 1 hour while the official frequently left their counters keeping everyone waiting. It was a pathetic experience and this kind of behaviour gives a bad name to our country
