The services provided for inter terminal transfers between terminal-1 and terminal-2 are insufficient. The facilitating staff provided by the operator are not cooperative and not even trained well. They don’t consider the urgency of services needed by the passenger considering his connecting flight timing, and additional time needed for immigration, and security formalities at another terminal. They just follow routine practice and mostly direct the passengers to private taxis or other transportations which asks the price as per their own wish without any controls and passenger doesn’t have any choice as he doesn’t want to miss his next flight. It is therefore requested to evaluate the overall facility which can support passengers to commute between the terminals. The chargeable basis services with preapproved tariff can also support the passengers for fast services.

20 years or more after, Sahar T2 and 15 years after privatization of Mumbai Airport Management and umpteen years after ‘efficient’ Indigo having to operate from both the terminals, the transfer arrangements between the two terminals is highly inadequate, chaotic and poorly managed.
I landed from Kolkata on T1 by Indigo today to connect to Vadodara flight which takes off from T2. And it was raining cats and dogs. A bus came after 15 min. Great rush, no prenumbered queue, two smart airport staff girls haplessly watching the tussles and quarrels. Next bus may come after 15min. Is this the image of our country that the Aviation Ministry, Adani, Indigo and whoever else is concerned want to portray after having spent billions on these wonderful airport structures? I am sure neither the Hon. Minister nor Mr Adani nor Indigo MD have ever tried to use these services which are surely subcontracted to some transporter with inadequate resources. Wake up guys! Amritkal will not come with just creating infra unless we do away with sub-par management practices and other procedural hurdles.

I took good old Uber after waiting for half an hour and two buses at 5pm.
