- Text of Complaint by Panneer Selvam Rajarathinam
Time of Incident – 28 Sept 2023 around 12.55 am to 1.30 am.
During security screening, the security agent had purposefully removed a pouch from my backpack. This we repeatedly sent back and forth for scanning. Inspite of me telling there is no electronics in it.
The pouch contained me and my wife’s expired passports
( For the last 20yrs ) Both Canadian and Indian passports.
There was also an amount of Rs. 40000 in all Rs.500 denominations.
We only realized our lost pouch after returning to Canada.

We kindly ask the airport authority to conduct a clear investigation. We are heartbroken with this incident at the airport. As a senior citizen and limited timing for our flight we were given a run around during screening.
If the pouch is in lost and found, kindly provide us the details on how to have this either sent to local family in India or to us in Canada.
