I am a frequent traveller and everytime i travel to other countries I am allowed to take my baby stroller upto the gate of the aircraft and after landing I get my stroller back at the same point i.e immediately after disembarking from the aircraft but at mumbai airport strollers are not handed over to us at the aircraft door but they are sent to the baggage service area.I had to carry my child in my arms at odd hours and walk a very very long distance until the immigration counter and then to collect the baggage and stroller.(Buggies didnot allow me to use their services even after i requested them )At the immigration there are more than 50 counters but there are officers only at very few counters due to which we took hours to get through the process.There was no one at the child in arm counter as well.During this whole time my child was in my arms.It was almost impossible after a point to hold him while he was asleep.Somehow I reached the bagagge counter and indigo representative asked me to collect the stroller from Baggage service area. I requested them to get it at the baggage belt for me as my child was in my arms but they said i have to take it myself while they both were standing there chatting doing nothing.I went to baggae service area which was full of strollers, a lady and a gentleman were sitting there, i showed them my boarding pass and requested them to give me my stroller.They said its not their job and i should look for an indigo representative. I told them that indigo represntatives sent me to you and now you are saying go back to them.To which the lady reacted”Oh god” and then she started chatting with her collegue ignoring me standing there right in front of her face.I had lost my patience by then and i told her that its your job and even if it isnt your job i am a passenger and you are an airport representative and you are here to help us after which she reluctantly got up and started looking here and there.Meanwhile a man came who was the helping staff i suppose and helped me find my stroller from hundreds of strollers lying there .I thanked him and left.This same thing has happened with me several time. To help you to trace the employees : It was around 5 am on 23rd april 2023 baggage service area near baggage belt 8 and 9.I have travelled the world and everywhere at airports and such other public places people are more than available and willing to help tourists. It is only such experiences in our own country which make us feel disappointed.In Every part of the world preferences are given to senior citizens and families with kids but in our country there are just boards whereas employees are either not at their respective places or are reluctant to work.Request you to make things simpler and easier as it is in other parts of the world.
