On January 25 2025, I traveled through Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA), and unfortunately, I experienced an unsettling situation regarding my checked luggage. Upon arriving at my destination, I noticed that some items were missing from my suitcase, which I had securely packed prior to departure, such as expensive dupattas, abayas, designer perfumes, branded sunglasses, and everyday clothing pieces of mine. My suitcase was locked with a gold lock without the code on which i thought to be fine, but in reality only to find items missing from my luggage. This raised many concerns and questions about the level of security at your airport. I am requesting an investigation into this matter and a thorough review of the security protocols for baggage handling at Mumbai Airport. I would appreciate assistance in determining whether my bag was opened at any point during the travel process as i see there there have been similar complaints from other travelers in the past regarding your airport and the lack of secured service it has. Additionally, I am requesting information on any compensation or steps that can be taken to address the loss of my items. I can provide a detailed list of the missing items, my flight details, and any other information necessary for your investigation. Please let me know the next steps and how this issue will be resolved.
