I am at the Mumbai Airport just for a Transit to Germany Munich.
I was not entering the country or taking a domestic flight through India.
However a customs officer took away my 1x Iqos Iluma Prime, 1x Iqos Iluma & Iqos One after I got my Boarding Pass.
I tried to explain that, that’s not some E-Cig and that I have never had any problems with that flying with Lufthansa.
There are no signs whether online on the official website of Mumbai airport nor in the airport visible that Iqos is prohibited or not allowed.
I would like to have this issue explained and wishing for a compensation for damages, because those Iqos where new.
I didn’t have any time to take images of this happening with the customs officer. It was a very hectic situation.
They didn’t give me anything for this. No documents, nothing.
I hope you can help me with this.
It was my first time in India, but if something like this happens, than I don’t know if I would like to travel to India again.
