We hired a cab with free Sai transport services in mumbai terminal T2 to Dombivli at 1.30 pm. They made a 2 hour ride turn into a 6 hour nightmare….., made us change the car twice… – first, despite paying for innova – and counter assured its big car for 5 pax + luggage, it turned out to eb a 5 seater with limited room for luggage. The driver and supervisors argued and put us in an Ertiga.. driven by one my Kamble. After putting the luggage he said, the car is low on fuel and suggested we wait for another car, and later hesitatnly took us in. 5 minutes later, he stood in a long queue for CBS and petrol. ..we wasted 40 minutes, had to hop of the car and stand in prettily pump with my aged parents. After all that, he started the journey ….. in 10 minutes, he mentioned the tires are low on air., and again did a u turn back to the petrol pump, and suggested he will arrange another car….. we lost another 30 minutes…..and they shifted all luggage into a another car…and started again…. By the time we started the journey….it was past 4pm and traffic increased….we were stuck in traffic for another 4 hours…..and finally reached dombivli at 8pm……. Right through the journey the driver was being called on call …with statements going on around why he took the trip etc etc… and politics between company car vs vendor car etc. thopught the new new driver was good, the journy was unpleasant….despite paying a premium price . … i regret booking after day services, and wish we had hailed a regular taxi or uber instead.
