It’s a complaint as well as a suggestion.
Having experienced airports worldwide, I can say that the Mumbai International Airport is one of the most nosiest ones with public announcements every other second.
The screens should be made more visible and available and travellers need to be held more responsible, rather than spoonfeeding them information about flight readiness, unless it is an important announcement such as a Gate change.
Of my 4 hours spent at the airport, I can say that I was hearing announcements for over 2 and a half hours! It’s a bit too much.
Bangkok Airport is no less busy than Mumbai Airport, but please experience it if you haven’t done it already! Its quiet and smooth as anything.
And to not outdo, every announcement is made in 3 languages! Its a bit too much of noise pollution for any International traveller.
Imagine listening to flight announcements for over 20 flights in 4 hours in three different languages! It’s nothing short of amazing

- Auto driver from the airport meter stand not ready to charge as per meter
