Wheel chair helpers ask for money and not helpful

My mother in law and aunty was flying from Melbourne to Mumbai and then Mumbai to Ahmedabad. The wheelchair helpers in Mumbai asked each one for money and were not happy with less amount and asked for Rs 500. They have to give to 2-3 of them. Parents are old and while we book or on the counter you guys say do not worry, helpers will help and drop them till doorstep.
