My mother had requested a wheelchair till the ramp. We arrived 2 hours early as per airline recommendations. When we asked for wheelchair, my mom was kept waiting despite both wheelchairs and attendants being available.
She has lounge facility, and could be sitting comfortably in the AC, and have lunch there… Instead she was kept waiting in the heat next to wheelchair table. No good rationale except that there is still time for the flight…
Why isnt wheelchair given? And if elderly citizens are going to be kept waiting in heat then why ask them to come sobearly?
