Dear Sir, Madam,
I have just landed in Mumbai from Delhi via the Air Vistara flight UK981.
On receiving my baggage, I noticed that the bag was damaged and one wheel of the bag was missing. This is a new bag which is not even 3 months old.

On complaining to your staff Ms. Deepika Pawar about it, she spoke to her manager Mr. Anil Kriplani. I was then offered a meager amount of only Rs.1500 as compensation.

This is just not acceptable. When I asked to speak to a more senior person or to the manager Mr. Anil Kriplani, I was denied that.

On asking for a formal complaint form, I was told that that cannot be given to me till I accept the compensation.

When I asked them to send me an email stating that they will give me only Rs. 1500 as compensation, that too they said that they cannot send an email.

In unspoken words, I was told either take the Rs. 1500 as compensation or to get lost and do what I want to do.

Hence, to report this to the company and get help, I wrote an email to the email id given to me my Ms Deepika Pawar, which was custrelation@vistara.com. I had a doubt on the validity of the email id and hence confirmed it with her at least 3 times. As expected, it was an incorrect email id! The mail was not delivered!

I request you to please replace the damaged bag or give the compensation as per the DOT guidelines.

I request you to be fair and have this issue resolved as soon as possible.
