Passenger queue was not moving or rendered immobile by the slow validation process at entry gate, by the personnel, due to which there were delays beyond 30 minutes at the entry gate 6, between 5:45 am and 6:15 am of Apr 25, 2024. This was only due to very slow process being followed by the personnel. We arrived at the Gate 6, 30 mins ahead of check-in closure time, but no one was there to expedite the queue. Even the Air India Express staff members did not come to the gate asking if any of the passenger were waiting outside to be escorted in as per priority. My wife, who was travelling for medical reasons, had to run from check-in counter to aircraft (gate 50) just because of the delay. Her luggage could not be onboarded due to flight gates had got closed, while they will be sent via next flight. Such kind of incidences shows a lack of customer care and service attitude from the airport staff and to an extent by the airline as well, resulting in incidences where people are left with little faith in the service provider(s).
