Hello,
I landed in Mumbai on 25th of March and went to the duty free to purchase chocolates.
They have listed a promotion saying ‘best deal guaranteed – find a better deal and get 2x the difference. Lindor chocolates are being sold for rs.3100 and I found multiple deals for under rs.2500 from Indian duty frees and under rs.1200 from international duty frees. The manager on duty refused to uphold their ‘guarentee’ saying ‘I know sir but this is the best price we will give.’
I think the duty free is the first experience for someone visiting india and the trip just starts with a bad taste. Please help me ensure that this is resolved. Thank you.
