I reached IST by an emirates flight on June 1, 2024. I was not allowed to enter Istanbul because of useless arguments by Istanbul airport team. I booked an Indigo flight from IST to Mumbai. My bags were on the land side of the airport and I had no access to them because I did not have a Turkish visa and to access my bags I had to go through passport control. I requested indigo team at IST to tag my bags with my indigo flight so that I get them at my destination. They refused to do so as they said that they have no tie up with emirates but they explained to me that I should file a complaint with indigo in mumbai( destination airport) and they will send my bags to Mumbai in the next flight. Once I reached Mumbai airport, the Mumbai airport Indigo team has been making me crazy and not filing the report. I am literally distressed with the service provided by indigo at both Istanbul and Mumbai airports. They mislead me. This kind of experience was my first. I didn’t know anything about such a thing.
I have been contacting them day and night but they are horrible. They are not helping me. I request them to just generate a missing report and provide me with the report number. I can provide the missing report number to the emirates team and they can send those bags to me in India.
