I had flight 6E 6045 from Mumbai to delhi at 2.30am. I had reached the airport at 12am and was seated at the boarding gate by 12.30am. As I was travelling alone, I received a call at 2.11 am from the indigo staff asking where I was. At 2.14 they tell me that boarding had closed and that the airplane had left. On asking why they could not have called me while they were still boarding I was told that “it is not our job to call every passenger”. I wasn’t told what to do after having mussed my flight, where to go for another flight. The ground staff at the boarding gate was the rudest most unhelpful staff I have ever come across. Indigo has given me mental and emotional torture with absolute apathy for a passenger travelling alone on a very late night flight. I hope that this airline learns some basic etiquette and courtesy otherwise their future is bleak and I pray they suffer the consequences of their actions and even a fraction of the pain they put their passengers through. I will never be booking any flights through Indigo ever again.
