The CISF at the T2 transfers in Mumbai does not allow transit operating crew to use the transfers even though it is open to all the passengers.
Clearly this is not a security issue, but someone pulling their rank to show that they can do whatever they want just on their whim. The staff at transfers just rudely says crew is completely banned from using transfers and should go out of arrivals and then go to departures to operate the flight, whereas the passengers are same flight are allowed from there.
Misuse of Rank by CISF
Totally agree with the complainant ! No airport in the world is crew not allowed where a passenger has entry. The other day not a fly was present at the transit SHA but I was made to walk 2.5km because of this silly procedure. It amounts to a fatigue risk management and ultimately a flight safety hazard !
