There’s no option to pick up senior passengers in private cars at terminal 2 except for going through the expensive parking lot. If pick up is done from Departure level, then the Parking personnel harass the picking up relatives even if there’s no waiting, not even a minute. These parking personnel insist on payment of parking charges even when the pick up happens in under a minute.
So, my suggestion is that till the time a proper pick up arrangement is built at terminal 2 (which is apparently under construction), the farthest lane at the departure level be allowed for pick up within a maximum 2-3 minutes exactly like that allowed at terminal 1.
Please do consider this suggestion as it would make life much easier.
