I arrived from Newark through AI 144 on 12th October (ticket#2202213946107). I purchased liquor at the duty free shop and stored the liquor in my bag pack for ease of carry.

I went through another security check point for my ongoing travel to Hyderabad on AI651. My bad pack was flagged and the security personnel asked me to remove the liquor because it was not in a sealed cover. Apparently the dutyfree shop did not put it in the sealed cover and I was not informed. I showed my international boarding pass and dutyfree receipt but the CISF security guard did not let me take the liquor and I had to relinquish it at the check point.

I do not understand the point why I was required to have a special packaging for the duty free liquor that I purchased downstairs and when the packaging was intact. The main security personnel at the location did not give me a reason other that said it is not allowed. I kindly request the authorities to make the transfer from international to domestic flights a pleasant experience without troubling the passengers.
