Dear Sir,
I was a travelling via Indigo flight from Mumbai to Dubai on 8th Jan, along with my two companions. Our PNR for the journey was VZUEGD.
I have given my checked in baggage at the IndiGo desk between 12:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Unfortunately, upon reaching Dubai and inspecting my checked-in luggage, I discovered that a sealed blue pouch containing US$ 7100, earmarked for my expenses during my stay in Dubai, was missing from my bag. The chain securing my luggage had been tampered with.
I immediately reported the incident to the IndiGo Desk both in Dubai and Mumbai. They advised me to reach out to you via email to address this issue. More than 36 hours has passed but I have not received any response. I have visited Dubai airport and my brother has visited Mumbai airport 3 times but we are not getting any positive response from airline staff as well as airport authority.
The loss of the cash from within my checked-in bag is distressing and it significantly erodes customers confidence in the airline’s handling procedures. I kindly request your immediate assistance in this matter.
The amount missing represents my hard-earned savings. I am coming from below average family and this money was my life saving. Please help me to find my blue eithihad pouch containing US$7100.
