My name is Sagar Chaudhuri. I travelled by Akasa Air flight QP 1519 from Kochi to Mumbai on 22nd September. Was at baggage belt number 1 when I visited the men’s washroom in the belt area on the ground floor at around 8:10 p.m . Due to water spill on the floor, I slipped and hit the urinal partition granite with my knee. It was a bad fall. I had an ortho check today. The knee has bled inside with the direct impact and it is extremely painful. Why wasn’t the washroom dry? This is utter negligence and poor passenger service. Airport maintenance should bear the compensation cost and take to task the maintenance incharge of the washroom. I can submit the doctor’s advice, xray and medicine bill . Hope you will ensure better customer service at the airport terminal 1, especially the maintenance of the washrooms.
