Wheelchair assistance personnel at Mumbai airport (both T1 and T2 terminal) are highly unprofessional, have unethical practices and work only for tips. Few go to an extent of even asking for more if they are not satisfied with what is offered. Today while travelling from Akasa (MAA to BOM) i purposely decided not to offer any money because i didnt get timely assistance. I And i was not surprised to see the remarks made and glances exchanged with fellow colleagues because he didnt receive,. Today he didnt ask me for tip but damn sure he expected one.
I m prompted to write this because i m a frequent flyer between Chennai and Mumbai and i see such contrasting difference between the staff at both airport. Chennai airport staff (wheelchair assistance) personifies humanity and serving attitude. Kindly look into it. Just giving them uninform of We Dont Accept Tips doesnt help
