Hi, my flight landed at Mumbai Airport on 6th December from Seattle -> Istanbul -> Jeddah -> Mumbai however my baggage was not available so I filed up a PIR form with the airport authority. I was told I’ll get an email and status update “that day” and the bag will be delivered the next day (7th) however nothing has happened. Worst I’ve not got any status update. The contact numbers they provided do not pick up the call, are switched off or out of network. I tried calling Mumbai airport customer service and they gave me more numbers however same thing with them. I need my baggage urgently but right now have no way of knowing anything regarding it. The File Reference number on PIR is incorrect or says cannot find baggage with this number. My question is
1) If the delivery is delayed, at least can we inform the customer about the ETA?
2) What’s the point of having customer service if no-one is going to pick up the phone and help? It is practically useless.
3) What am I supposed to do right now? I’ve been just constantly calling on the numbers and complaining on various forums. This is super frustrating and the process is messed up. Any help would be appreciated.
