I took flight EK501 from Mumbai to Dubai on 16 February 2024.
My checking/boarding pass was issued by Ms Kalpana Tarkase.
Completely unprofessional and rude.
I have never experienced such a behavior and responses from ground staff.
It was an issue pertaining to checkin baggage.
Instead of requesting politely Emirates staff’s first response was to threaten to not issue boarding pass if I don’t check in hand baggage. Finally supervisor had to intervene to calm the situation.
I have been regular flyer but I have never experienced such a behavior from the ground staff. I hope Mumbai Airport will take necessary action against Ms Kalpana and provide her necessary training on passenger handling.
I have been quite upset with such behavior.
